I just got the latest Snow Tech in the mail and started looking through it the other night and could not help but notice the "wind shield" on the Rev XP on the cover.I'm not a fan of the new Rev to start with,don't care for all the sharp lines and angular bodywork,but I understand they handle and ride great.With that joke of a windshield on it Cobra sales ought to be brisk next season and it pains me to say but I think Cat is the only one putting something on from the factory that looks to be quite functional.I have not ridden an Apex ER but they do actually look like the windy on it would do a decent job.
I know the Rev XP is probably marketed towards the hot dogger or what ever you want to call them but it seems to be a trend the OEM's are following to put this foolish piece of lexan or plastic where a windshield should be.I pity the poor souls riding a Phazer with nothing at all

I hate to admit it, but thats were Arctic Cats have shined over the years. Ever hear a Cat rider complain about being cold? Its like having a picture window in front of you!!

I agree, they ought to have more protecion. the mid apex windy is actually quite good, but any of the phazer rtx, rev sleds are just foolish. lower than low and sometimes just non-existant. doesnt even look good to me

my nytro is cold gonna put a low rx1 windy on it. know of any?
Last year I switched sleds for a few miles with a bud of mine who has a Nytro and I could not believe how cold it was,more comfortable than my SRX yes but .That particular trip was during a cold spell last February and I don't know how he stood it to ride the distance we did in those temps,even with the Cobra windshield on mine it still isn't great,better than the stocker,but that Nytro makes me cold just thinking about it.
I just realizes that my avatar pic is from that ride and the sled in back of mine is my buds Nytro.

If you notice on the cover of the Snow tech, the XP rider is 75% or more exposed (from the tops of his knees all they way up)....wow that's going to be cold.
