got an 89 exciter that after it sits idling for a minute or 2 you need to fan the throttle to get it going. It appears that it is running on one cylinder pto side where mag side plug is moist. Have installed new coil checked compression o.k and new plugs and caps. I think the issue is in the stator but do not understand why one cylinder fires o.k the other not so good. After you get going it runs like a scared cat but heaven for bid if you should stop. Any suggestions are welcomed. Carbs are all clean and calibrated. Clutches are all rebuilt as well.
is the choke cable hanging up on the mag side carb?

not as far as I can tell cables work smoothly if anything when its running I pull on choke cable and nothing changes. I did forget to mention that the spark on the 2 cylinders can be a different color and it varies on the one side. pto side always blue mag side reddish with a light blue kinda hard to explain
