Need some advise, running stock 98 srx 600, 144 inch 1" studs, looking to order new carbides, have 9" on it now, turns great but darts pretty bad, should I stick with and 8 or 9" carbide and do the shim trick or back up to a 6". I primarily trail ride Tug Hill and dont want to lose the good turning. Consider myself an aggresive rider. Any help appreciated.

I would like to see a pic of your sled 144 with studs it would need 8 or 9 for shure.Does the front end sit mutch lower than the front?Or do you mean 144 1 " studs?
