yup Monker did it, that's a decent suspension, but i think you can do better such as an edge or even an IQ, or the an SCIII from a skidoo, or a cat from a new f-series, or a MONO and stick with yamaha! Those are GREAT suspensions, those mono's.
That is definately true as well, they are not great jumping skids. Your style would be more fitted for the proactive torsion spring suspension from a nytro or vector.
true, very true. but man what a trail skid! I just gave tom my write up for a review hopefully it will helpa lot of guys install the mono just need one for the proactive now
I instaled my ZR Sno Pro suspension in the start of this season, worked awesome, wicked transfer, good ride, lighter, no track ratcheting, and best of all didnt break a darn piece. One of my best mods to date.
Could the 13.5" suspension have significant increase in MPH? I seem to remember reading that the thinner 13.5" track creates less of a fan effect and therefore has significant top end advantage over 15"? Does that sound right to you? Makes sense to me but i've been known to be a gullable guy lol.
yes you will see a speed increase with the 13.5".I think I'm putting one in my srx but mainly for lake racing. With the narrow track you will get a lot inside ski lift.I don't recommend the firecat skid for trail riding.
not really.I have had firecats and tunes some of my buds race sleds. The have a longer track so traction is great when you put the studs closer to the rails for penetration and you can put them in the closed windows. They have less of a scratch pattern but more penetration because of the pressure point if that makes sense to you.
