Test Dummy
Here's an easy question for someone in the know. My buddy has a 97' XTC 600 that has been streched from 121" to 136" with extensions. Those rails are now shot. He has a chance to get a pair of original 136" rails. Will they bolt right in, using existing holes, mounts, etc.. All parts are stock off another proaction suspension. I told him I thought they would but didn't know for sure. So I would ask the experts. Thanks, Soc

Nope! Did the full rails on the Viper. You will have to move rear and center points back. Offhand I don't remember what those dimensions are, but I am sure others will chime on here. You could PM Maxdlx, he prolly has 'em stored in the organic memory bank [his BRAIN LOL]. He'll be happier with the full length rails. Tail landings will no longer create the drama "OH @#%&, did I just bend and extension!!" YOu'll also need drop brackets for the rear point, and I would recommend the bracket for the center as well. You can get away with drilling the upper or lower location, but is nicer to have the flexibility of dropping the suspension down for clearance or leaving it up for lower ride height and better handling. Hope this helps you!!
