I feel so stupid. I went to grease my suspension today. Got the gun out and bought some yamaha grease. First spot I went to grease was on the rear suspension. Put the gun on the tip. greased it full went to pull it off and the tip on the suspension broke off. Now what do I do? Can this be replaced? Now I think I`m going to cry. HELP ME PLEASE :o| :o| :o|

Do you mean that you broke the grease zerk? Did it just pull out?

Yes the zerk. It`s stuck in my grease gun and a small spring came out with it. it`s broke. That`s what I get for buying a $12 grease gun at walmart. So I can get an easy out and replace the zerk?

Did the grease zerk just simply PULL out or it broke off? If it pulled out, go to your local napa store and you can find new self tapping zerks, that you can lightly tap in with a hammer. Or if it's still a bit in there, do as daman says.

yup i've broken TONS of those, get a small easy-out and it will come right out. Remember when replacing it that if it is a yamaha part it has a METRIC grease fitting in it. Some aftermarket transfer rods replace that piece, some dont. If it is still the stock yamaha one you will need a metric grease fitting.
