I want to add a Big Bore kit to my 92 v max 4,and would like to use genuine yamaha 800 pistons,but don't know if they will work.Do they have the same compression height and pin bore?Or,should I just get some kind of aftermarket kit? Also,On a 92 crank,do just the gears get welded?or all crank pins and mains?Engine has twin torquer pipes and boyessen reeds.I would like to up compression a bit.What to do??? This work will be done on my spare engine.If somebody could direct me to a competent engine shop in Peterborough or central ON. area,would be much appreciated

Hey, post this over on the vmax4.com site where they specialize in the mighty Vmax4. Lots of knowledgable guys there to help you out with this specific machine. Cant go wrong!!

The guys on vmax4.com really know there stuff.I know there quite a few upgrad you can do to the 750's even put the 800 exhaust on with all these little tips it will beat the 800's
