has anyone had experience with 4"+ handlebar extensions? (at 6'2", i need to be able to stand in the rough stuff) i just got done raising mine 4-1/2" with some custom parts. i have not tested it on the snow, but would like any input if it has been done and if there may be unforseen issues.

i could also make some parts if anyone is interested.

extensions

I have mine lifted, plus I have gone to grizzly bars which are taller and wider. The only thing you have to make sure of, is that you understand it is much easier now to break off the handlebar mount, I have done it twice. You just put a snipe on a weak part, better get it strengthened before you get towed back, trust me it sucks.

I am 6-5, and I do a 2" rise on the steering column, so it does not break, and then run Pro-Taper bars. Bars and mount kit raise it an additional 1.5", and the bars are almost 3 " wider than sled bars, so you get more for your effort. Besides, I like the dirt-bike feel

The riser block is about 5.5", plus the pivot adapter. But remeber the bars have 0 rise themselves.
