anyone make any pipes for a 97 and newer 500 LC??? I see AAEN made pipes for the 500's up to 96 but in 97 they strictly had 600 pipes. I'm not having much luck here.
Not even a single pipe?? I can't believe nobody made a single pipe or even twins...
they made pipes but they not worth it. i did the research for my sxr500. they are a pita to keep jetted properly and the motor is finicky with them on. most guys just throw a can on it and maybe port them for the trail.
who made them? I've got a buddy that has his heart set on some pipes. We were out grass draggin the other day and he wasn't too happy he got beat by my piped Phazer. 
My Banshee put him to shame too. LOL he said he would be back next weekend with a fresh belt and 5 gallons of race fuel.

Why does everyone think race fuel gives them more power? I'm stumped...
I dont know what he is thinking on the race fuel, he is praying. I love the smell but it's not worth $5 a gallon. I found a set of twins off a 600 SX and I think he is going to try those. Are these motors really that tempermental with pipes?
