98 Mountain SRX?


They should fit from any other proaction sled, but many of them have less cooling than srx exchangers. If you want to see if other sleds have the same part number exchangers as you just go on yamaha's fiche on their site at www.yamaha-motor.com and go to the parts section and start comparing some part numbers.
 
thanks holic, i thought that others would fit too. when i checked the fiche i didnt notice that there are 2 different part numbers listed, 1 for a standard srx and 1 for a MSRX. needless to say i bought a standard heat exchanger. come to find out the standard is shorter than the one used on the msrx. i was very surprised that yamaha would make different size h/e rather than just use a longer hose. i checked the fiche but couldnt find other sleds with the same part number as the msrx, hoping i missed one, otherwise its probably going to very difficult to find one.

I have both MSRX heat exchangers in very good condition, taken off when I put a Eckholme drop and rolled tunnel on my MSRX. $75 plus shipping for both
 
gild, thanks. it is for a friend's sled. ill talk to him within the next couple days and find out if he wants them. i just got back from "the last ride of the season" so i havent talked to him for a couple days, he may have brought it to get welded by now. but im going to suggest he buty yours. i just went the same thing, welding just isnt as good.

The MSRX exchangers are longer and more fins than the newer MMaxs also the inlet and outlet piping is larger.I also have a set for 01 SXR and 02 MMax
