hello fellow members i work at a plastic shop where we fabricate, thermoform and cnc all plastics if any of you need anything just let me know!!!!
i just finished programming all 2008 polaris parts!!! (met the president of polaris thank god he did not ask me what i ride)

if anyone has any ideas on anything aftermarket also, give me ideas

i know that i personally love the white belly pan blaze had on his viper. i would like a plastic, light, hood with no vents or light hole. what would that cost?

Marty, Do you have any idea how many guys would love to have a larger gas tank or a plastic auxillary tank on a Vmax4 http://www.vmax4.com/, Vmax540 http://www.vintagevmax.com/, Exciter570, Vmax5/600, or any brand of older sled ? The majority of tunnels are pretty much a standard width (16"?) so, why not design a wedge shaped seat riser/plastic auxillary tank combo to fit under the seat on the tunnel ? The vented tank cap could be from the rear just below the tail light and could hold 1-3 gallons ? The fuel line could be from the front of tank and hook to the main tanks vent line. The beauty of using the main tanks vent line is the auxillary tank would empty first ! This design would sell to those who want a higher riding position and or anyone who wants more fuel range !

Great idea!!

I'm in on one for a V-max 4 if you go with this idea. I might buy a few for my old v-max 600's as well as they like the fuel as well.

if you are talking about the whole wrap around belly pan i would need an extremely detailed blueprint from the oem (bend radius, angles)

roughly what would you charge to inject what essentually is a bmx bike 4 spoke wheel with a drive gear on the outside, diameter of 16in and width of 2 1/2. i would have my machinist make the part in reverse as a mold for you.

no injection

i do not do injection molding

thermoform vs injection

Marty could you give us a brief course on the difference of Thermoform and Injection molds ? Thnaks !
thermoforming is when you take a sheet of plastic and heat it up and bend it or drape it over a fixture vs injection molding is when you have plastic in a liquid form and pour it into a cavity and then it hardens

Can you make WHITE skid plat for a Viper and how much if several people bought one? Model it after the Holeshot skidplat.

speaking of plastic, I have about 20 pieces of white strips of neo that are 1-1/4 wide 1/8" thick and 8' long if anyone needs some for trailer runners.

Just drop me a pm.
