My brother did great job reduzing weight on that thing.

Took away e-start, changed skis, put the Decker pipe (stock must weight a ton!) on etc.

Modding Exciter continues, with new engine, pipe and carbs. Engine is modded vmax 600 twin, pipe Totaltek single and carbs 39.5 mm flatslides. I cant use twin pipes because those dont fit under EX hood.

Wiseco pistons

Modded head

Pipe

SJ,

Are you using the EX crank & case, or is it the entire Vmax motor? if it's the entire Vmax motor, how easy was the bolt-up - did you have to play around with the engine mounts?

A.

-Its entire motor
-Crankcase bottom is same, cover different because cylinders are different
- Engine mounts are excatly same because same crankcase bottom. So no problem.

- Check parts catalog, you will be amazed how much those engines have same parts.

that brings back alot of great memories! know if i could only fit my viper motor under the hood? wow what a ride that would be!!!!

Samueljackson got a another Exciter. It had PSI twins in it, Bender cold air intake and a new track.

He took the pipes + stuff and redid them and fitted them to his watercross sled. Well, he also rides this one winter too..

Some pics..
