does anyone know if an electric start kit and reverse kit from a 2000 vmax 500 will swap to a 2002 viper? thanks

Not me personally but I see a problem even if the parts fit. Your Viper clutch may not have a ring gear on it.

i think most yami clutches are drilled and tapped to accept the ring gear already thanks

Yes you can swap the ring gears right over, they are drilled and tapped even without reverse. The only difference I can think of would be the flywheel and charging system.
