After removing and straightening all the steering rods, now it's time to put it back together.
What is the best way to get the proper adjustment of
\ handlebar straight
\ skis straight with 1/4" toe-out
Right now I'm using straight-edges on each carbide, figuring the track of the ski will follow the direction of the carbide. Trying to point them straight back, then adjusting the rods to fit appropriately.
Anybody have a better idea?
Thanks

all my race stuff is measued front of carbide to oposit ski front of carbide. then repeat to back of carbide. I run 1/4 or so TOE OUT. TOE IN where the front edge of the carbide is more narrow than at the rear makes for a twitchie sleds that darts around

try using a 8' light bulb or other long object layed tight to the side of the track then measure from the bulb to the ski front and back then do the opposite side.
