got my suspension out of the SRX and you can see in the pics the arms bent on each side of the rear shock.I am putting an SXR long traveled skid in anyways. My main problem now is I can't remove the set screws from the bearing on speedometer side and can't remove the set screw on the collar on the drive shaft.Allen wrenches bite good, but cannot rotate them screws.Twisted the crap out of the allen wrench already.Do I have to drill them out.Have to get them out so I can slide the shaft over to get the friggin
track out.Gears are all stock I notice and the chain is in great shape to.HELP.

I will change all the bearings anyways. One bearing in the chaincase makes noise when I spin it,the other is smooth..I'll change them both also.Since everything is out..will change the jackshaft bearing and the driveshaft bearing on the opposite ends to.

you can take the chain ase clear off, and then remove the outer bearing retainer on thespeedo side. Then remove the rivets that hold the inner bearing holder in. You will then be able to get the shaft out and work on it on the bench. The rx chasis only hold the bearing holder in with the bolts anyways. Maxdlx

I had the same thing happen to the straps on my Viper. One of the "W" arm bolts came loose. Make sure you check them.

HEY IF YOUR DONE RUNNING YOUR STOCK SKID, SEND ME THAT SMALL INNER AXILE WITH WHEELS YOU HAVE PICTURED HERE. NEED THEM FOR GRASS RACING ON MY SRX. !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

maxdlx..I'll try your trick there and see what happens..thanks
Chasx7..I replaced the w-arm because the old was was sestroyed..bought it that way(the sled)So more damage was done then.Chucking this skid and putting in another one anyways..Thanks

maxdlx...got the track and drive axle out the way you told me...thanks
YAMMIEGOD3:16...i GUESS i WON,T NEED THAT AXLE AND WHEELS....make me an offer and I'll let you know.
I notice the front heat exchanger has marks from the studs and the tunnel has some gouges. But good that it didn't go very deep. That is why I won't put studs on my new track, and it is extra weight and creates more track ballooning.I have to order some bearings I guess and over-sized wheels and idlers. Will have my new skid by next weekend.
Debating on polishing the tunnel first.
