Will pick up SXR suspension to put in my SRX soon. Will go through all the bearings on it and order 7.5 rear wheels and 5.35 idler wheels for it.And going to do a small mod on the front shock. Will take the bearings from the rear shock of the SRX and install them on the front shock of the SXR.This way the shock will stay tight and not wiggle around because of worn out bushings.Bethaviper's idea. Will make sure all other bushings are good, will do the coffee can shim trick with the plastic bushings in skid and front spindle bushings. My back end will be a bit higher so I guess I can try the switch the front shock brackets from left to right side and flip shocks upside down. This will gain almost an 1" of height in front. Will have a marginal wheel kit on the rails also, which are on the SXR skid already. Will follow up with my new 1"
Predator 6-pitch track and that will be done.Next I will go through the entire front end and then install my new Simmon's Flex ski's.The summer work on this SRX is just beginning.Going thru the whole sled like I did on my 2001 SXR.It will be new because I keep adding new parts. Will start collecting spare parts for the sled for the future. No reason why I can't be riding this sled for the next 15 years or more.

Simmons on an srx? Are those going to be aggressive enough for aggressive riding on the trails?

ye and not going with studs either. The old track I had, mind you I didn't put most of the 3800 miles on the sled, did gouge away at the tunnel and clawed at the front exchanger.Luckily not that deep though.I can see at hi speed that a track can ballon, with pics on there is more weight and really balloons.I don't ride on ice anyways, don't need them.
And as for the Simmon's ski's,talked to a few guys who have them on their SRX's and love them.
