Anyone ever hear of it being a good idea to replace the drive chain when replacing a track of a sled with over 3,500 miles on it?? How about bearings??

Chains actually last alot longer than that as long as you were not beating the hell out of your sled all those miles and oil was changed every season.

The most important bearing that needs to be serviced or replaced every so often is the speeo drive bearing. It is located on the left side right underneath the secondary clutch behind the speedo housing.

I completely agree. I dont understand why everyone changes all their chaincase bearings anytime they change a track or anything. Sure, everyone will say cheap insurance. But if the oil is changed often those bearings will virtually never fail. I will gladly take the bearings everyone else is pulling out that are in great shape yet.
