Mounting hand guards to SXR

Anyone out there have hand guards on your SXR? I have a set of Powermads and the mounting bracket will not work. They interfere with the throttle cables and brake resevoir/ hose. Just so you know, I also have put on an 06 Apex bar with hooks and a Fly Racing 6" riser (now the bars are about 2-3" higher than stock and looks way better. Are there better hand guard mounts out there?

they will work.you just need to slide brake and throttle assembly over towards grip.
