I have a 136" ripsaw on my 02 viper ER. I really like it on trail, but I am looking at gaining a bit more off trail performance. I am looking at both the 1.25 six pitch and the 1&3/8" sno-pro track from arctic cat made by camoplast.

I know that the six pitch is a good all around performer with good durability.

I am looking for feedback on the sno-pro track. On and off trail performance. Top end loss, durability and such. And anyone that has owned both tracks or has compared them side x side on the snow.

right now I am geared down 1 tooth on the top with stock engine and clutching.

is the sno-pro a good enough track to go back to 121 and be equal to a 136 six pitch? Although I would really like to stick with the 136. The sno-pro is also available in 136.

Also welcome any other suggestions on other comparable tracks. I do not want to lose all my on trail capability as I still have to ride lots of groomed trail to get to the off trail spots. I also do not want to lose TOO much more top end them what I have now with my 136 ripsaw.

below are pics of each track:

I agree. And both of those tracks are very strong in the powder for their size, and much better than the ripsaw. On trail I think the predator is probably slightly better than the cat.

I have decided to stay 136...as for track choice undecided, might even run the ripsaw for one more season, then maybe lean towards the six pitch, although the new cobra track looks pretty interesting
