reverse and electric start?

i have a 98 SRX 700. i am new to sleds for i have lived down south most of my life. but my sled does not have reverse or electric start. is it possible to install these with out having to modify alot? thanks

No,

You can't add reverse or electric start to the SRX, but I am sure somebody out there has done it. I have an SRX for my girlfriend, but there is no way in hell she can pull it.

If anybody has added electric start to the SRX please respond. I am willing to do major mods to do it. Otherwise I have to put her on steroids. Not sure I can handle a beard on her though.

Maybe I am having a brain fart moment, but I think you can add e start to a srx, and I know you can add reverse. You may have to get a little creative on where to put the battery, but I think they sell an e start kit right from yamaha. Maxdlx

I think Boomer has e-start on that beauty white SRX he built, I haven't had time to tackle it on mine yet, running out of summer LOL.

thanks guys for the info. there for a bit i didnt think anyone knew lol. i was told e-start was avalible but reverse i still didnt know but again thanks. i was also told i am able to put viper rear springs shocks and all on the srx to give me a 12" travel for better ride. is that true as well or anything better to do for a bit smoother ride cause mine beats me to death lol thanks

Get ahold of betheviper, he is the srx long travel expert. Yes Viper rear shocks will work. Maxdlx

Electric start for SRX 700 triple

Hi folks. Don't mean to but in, bit of a newbie here.. Understand a member going by "Boomer" has installed electric start on an SRX 700. Anyone know where they got the kit or if the built it from scratch? Thanks. Steve.
