Hey guys. i am going to switch my 04 viper s to a 1" track so it doesnt eat my heat exchanger again. I have ran a hacksaw before and thought it was pretty good. What track would you guys suggest?? I am going to be running 168-192 picks. Also will i have any clearance issues with 1.175 picks? thanks!

Predator or Hacksaw would be the top choices. But since you have a ViperS and plan on studding youll will want to install front protectors, tunnel protectors, and rear protectors IF your running a rear cooler. You really want to install protectors cause if you dont youll more than likely eat up your front protector and possibly your tunnel. But if you run 1.175in studs you wont have clearence issue. Id asked this question not long ago and was told if your a throttle jockey and run in low snow condition youll bend the studs without thinking twice when using the 1.175in.

I shaved my ripsaw down to a 1 inch in about an hour and a half with a razor knife so I could run 1.25 studs . I needed to install tunnel protectors and a rear heat exchanger protector . Also needed to tighten up the rear shocks a bit and snug up the track . Alot easier than switching out to another track ..

I have run the predator six pitch and the hacksaw and really like both. They are very similar on trail but the predator is better off trail, so that is what i would go with. And you can get them CHEAP if you look around enough.
