Hi guys, I just picked up a completely stock 2000 SRX 700 (one of my dream sleds) and have a few questions.

Will I be able to run a 1.25 unstudded track with the stock drivers?

What's the best way to stiffen up the skid inexpensively? (I'm 350lbs)

Any suggestions on a clutching setup for a big guy?

Any help or input is very much appreciated

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Are you you just trail riding or do you like to line up on the lake once in a while?
Are you familiar with how yamaha adjustments work on the suspension?

I'm an agressive trail rider and I'm not familiar with the skid adjustment but I figured I'd need to stiffen it up considering my size and riding style.

Get ahold of Viper-dave, he has a heavy rear spring for the rear. You would need long travel shocks, but they can be found cheap too. Maxdlx

Long traveling the rear would definately be your best bet if keeping the stock skid, if ultimate ride is your goal though go with an M10. For clutching we are going to need to know what kind of riding you plan on doing. The stock weights in the 00-02 srx's work VERY WELL in most all around conditions.

for just aggressive trail riding turk has a great set up on the tech page it's located on the main screen.

I STILL HAVE MY 2000 SRX I BOUGHT NEW. I LOVE IT AND I AM GONNA CONTIUE TO RACE IT. ANOTHER THING ABOUT THIS SLED IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE ASKED, YOU CAN CONTIUE TO MAKE INPROVEMENTS ON IT TO FIT YOU THROUGH CLUTCHING AND SUSPENSION SET-UP. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Thanks guys. Good info.

maxdlx, when you say long travel shocks are you talking viper shocks?
