how to find id #s on frame or just on motor 77 srx 340

NO 77 SRX 340. 76 ONLY. PREFIX ON CHASSIS WAS 8A8. THIS WILL BE LOCATED ON RIGHT SIDE FRONT OF CHASSIS WHILE SITTING ON SLED. MOTOR WAS RX-338, THATS ON RECOIL HOUSEING. !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

Ok So That Old Srx Is Half The Size Of A V4 And A Lot Slower But Its 95 Out Today And We Should All Have A Good Laugh

LAKE DON,T LAUGH. SAW A GUY LAST YEAR AT JACOBEYS WITH A 78 SRX AND A 80 SRX. HAD SMALL SONS RIDEING THEM. LET ME JUST SAY THEY PISSED ALOT OF PEOPLE OFF. KNOW VMAX 4 OWNERS THOUGH lol!!! 3:16 (yammie tony)

Yah. Have some video footage someplace that shows a 650 triple polaris and 650 wildcat leave the line ice draggin with ski's in the air. Then, in the foreground, a lone 77 SRX 440 comes sceaming past both of them!!! Got a 93 V4, love it, but always maintained that one of the old X's can show a roosters backside to any of the new heavies!
I have just obtained a rough 78 SRX that I would love to turn into an ice racer, sad though, probably much like your 340. I found new hoods on the net, both the production hood and the 75 GPX water cooled hoods. But my problem is the bellypan. Anyone know of anybody making these, or if, (forgive my naive optimism) Yamaha miracously still sells them?!
