well here's the deal 1996 vmax 600 in the primary clutch there are three rollers that the weight's come in contact with when the clutch engages well inside the rollers are nylon bushings last year before the season i was checking my sled over and noticed these bushings were wore out so i replaced them at 22 dollers a shot well when i got back from a trip to fredric i noticed there were completely shot after maybe 200 miles so my question is do these just were out that fast or is there another issue possible any help is greatly appriceated

The twins are very hard on clutch components because of the harmonics of the engine. The only way to make them last is to do a complete rebuild and literally replace all of the wearable parts at one time as a unit. I think Yamaha even sells a clutch rebuild kit for them that comes with most of it. You will need rollers, roller pins, weight pins, cover bushing, sliding sheave bushing and weight bushings if they are worn at all.
