Best Grass Belt!

Hey guys, i thought i had seen a post on this but wasnt able to find it. I have a 700 Sx that is being set up to run trail improved on grass and was wondering what would be the Best choice for belts.....preferably something that would also be fairly wear resistant to keep the same setup throughout the winter!!

Ultimax 4432 & buy 2. Alternate belts after every run if you don,t have a long time to cool down.Your gonna have to reclutch for em cus they run 2-400 rpm,s lower then the 8dn belt.Also rpm,s won,t change like the 8dn belt does after it gets real hot..
 
Thats a very loaded question..Grass is one thing,trail riding is another..Using one belt for both is dreaming..A 8DN is good for trail riding,but you have to re-shim your secondary..The original 8CH is very good for grass,but you have to test...test...test...Unless your a tuner use your orignal 8CH belt for everything..

If you go aftermarket look at Ultimax XS805.

Ran the 8CH on the 2-strokes back a few years ago but currently use Ultimax XS805 on current SRX setup.
 
Ok thanks guys lots of good info I'll go with a different belt completely for the grass. Maybe 2 lol...ya and tunings not a big deal , got a test and tune day coming this weekend to dial in the sled so i'll try a few of the options there !!
 
I used to run 8CA weights with 1 rivet in the inner hole.A blue spring from Maximum Perf.,48/40 helix w/ a green secondary spring at @ 60-80 twist..18 or 19/40 gearing...8CH belt...On real hot days 8DN worked ok..

On what sled???? SX 7???

VERY CLOSE TO WHAT I RAN IN MY 97 SX. I FOUND A SPRING FROM BENDER I THINK WAS VIOLET, WORKED GREAT. ALSO ALITTLE MORE HELIX. 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
Very close to what we have into this sled... A bit more helix aswell for us, where going to try the 8DN this weekend, have already used the Gates last time out with Ok results. couldn't get my hands on a 8ch, dealer here had no stock.
 
Tony tried one run with the 8DN, don't think it's going to work for me!!! Let me know if your interested in it.
