Ok, Well I have the oppurtunity to buy a 2000 sxr 760 big bore. it has hauck pipes and is clutched and jetted for the set-up. Its been ported and polished, has a boost bottle and reeds. Custom paint and decals, blue metalic with silver flake decals, looks very close to stock.

He was asking 1850 firm, I offered him 1400, and he said hell take it if I pick it up. or 1500 with extra belts, plugs, a tank map and some oil. The price seems unbelieveable, but is the sled unbelieveable? Some people said it has suspension problems, an arm breaks I think? I got spanked by an F-7 Last year on my xc700 and wont let it happen again. I ride lakes/trails alot, and powder up to 2ft. I love jumping cornus's and it WILL land on its tail a few times.

I would probably be adding a 1.25 ripsaw and 144 studs.

So you yamaha experts, yay or nay? I have pics if your interested.

Thanks, Luke

This is my first post!! im from SF/HCS

Keep looking

I'd say if you are trying to avoid getting "spanked" by an F7 you better pass on the sled you are describing and continue your search.

The 760's run pretty strong you will beat the majority of f7's except for big bore f8's

^^^I just want to hang with some of the higher performance sleds,. Any other opinions? Also, my drtbike is for sale in the classifieds, someone buy it, so I can get this sled.
