Please forgive my noobness, i'm a 2 stroke novice. Been building cars my entire life and i've never owned anything with a 2 stroke engine. But anyway, i bought a single person dune buggy a few months back that had a 340 Enticer engine in it. Well it had some carb issues so i went ahead and found a really nice 81 Exciter 440 sled for real cheap. So i installed the engine in the buggy, hooked everything up the same way it was in the sled but i noticed something while it was running. I never see the oil go up into the injection unit, but it smokes like it's getting oil. Should i be seeing the oil go up from the tank into the unit. Is it possible i have my tank mounted to low for the pump to draw it up. Any info would be greatly appreciated. If pics would help i can snap a few. Thanks Jay

Disconnect the oil line and watch to see if oil pumps out. Tanks are always mounted so that gravity keeps oil at the pump as well

Damn my reservoir is way below my pump it definately won't get there by gravity. I guess i'll take a pic so you all can get a visual.
