I have a 2001 sxr 700 I installed a 136" M-10 with a 1 1/4" Rip saw, with reverse. Stock 9 tooth drives. Wondering what gears to run? Stock gears are 22/39

With a 1.25" Ripsaw track,you should at least gear it down one tooth.I have done that to my 600SXR with a 1.25" Rip Saw,makes a world of difference and top speed really is not down by much.You will have a better launch when you pin it.

Your gonna need a new chain to go down 1 tooth.

Turk,why would he need a new chain when dropping a tooth?I didn't have to on mine.Has it got to do because he has reverse.
