Lost My Key !!!!

Just noticed that I have misplaced my keys for my sled..a 1998 V-MAX 700.....I have no manual since the sled was purchased used...other than buying a new cyluinder which I assume you can is there any other quick fixes...can a dealer cut a key from your sleds serial number....??? Thanks Diceman

they can order a key from the number burned into the side of the switch. last time i bought one it was 12$, ill sell you an ignition switch shipped to canada for 25 with key.

unplug the ignition and you should be able to run your sled, unless it has electric start. Your handwarmers wont work, but in a pinch you can start your sled without the key.
