My proaction has seen better days to say the least and is in need of a some parts and repairs. Trying to decide if I should rebuild. I've heard people talk about putting a polaris suspension in or another OEM. Does anyone have an opinion on this or any information. Is this a major undertaking, what are the pros and cons, is it worth it or should I just rebuild the proaction??

Thanks...

In my opinion, and this is after riding my 2001 SRX700 and replacing NUMEROUS suspension parts (W Arm, shock, shock mounting shafts, etc....), numerous times....it comes to a point where you are chasing your own tail

I cut my losses and upgraded to an M-10. And I never regretted it for one second. My first ride on the new suspension made it alllll worth it.

Not saying you have to go to the extreme of an M-10 or an AD Bovin Expert X suspension, but I would definitely swap out the suspension.

Someone was selling an M-10 w/ Ohlins for $900, which is a good deal. Check for it in the TY classifieds section. Also you can find other suspensions on EBay. Look for a Skidoo SCIII, which alot of Yamaha riders that are sick of the Pro-action (aka No-Action) suspension have put in. Good luck.

I would go M10. I've got 3000mi on mine in my SRX - night & day compared to the pro-action

Hey Steve, where did you get your offset axle for the M10 for the 8" wheels?
