Hey guys, not sure what the benefits are in getting a block riser or pivot riser. Can someone please give me an idea of the pro's and cons of both. I am only going with a 2inch rise so that I don't need new cables. How hard to install?? Thanks for your opinions!

I am not sure there is a con to adding a pivot riser. Like TopGunnSRX said, you can position the bars for height and angle that best suits your riding style. I added a 2" Rox pivot riser last year and it is awsome. I can now stand up and ride comfortable through the rough stuff. Installation is an easy 15 minute job with a 2" riser. G.B.

i have used a isovibe for the past few years and love it, less vibration, much easier on the rists on hard front end landings. it gives you about 2in of rise

I have a 2" block riser which is ok but it also pushes you farther back on the running boards in the narrow part making it uncomfortable to ride standing up. At Hay Days I bought a 3.5" Rox pivot riser that I can't wait to try out this winter. Higher and forward will help me out a bunch as I am 6'3. XC

a pivot gives you adjustability to move forward versus just the block will raise them just up and back.alittle more money but worth it.if you need either let me know.

2" block=$26 shipped
2" rox pivot=$82 shipped

on the isovibe, you can configure it so the bars end up in the same spot just up higher.

they are a great product and made in maine. they also sell vibration dampers that go in the ends of your bars.

You should be able to. My brother has an Isovibe on his '03 Polaris Pro-X 700 and all he did to keep the same height was he remove the 2" block and installed the Isovibe in it's place. The block was 2" and the Isovibe gives you 2".
