what is the best reeds to buy ...... boyesen....... v-force ...or carbon tech

Factory reeds are very good for a stock SRX engine IMO, for the price of "good" reeds, you get a poor performance return.

where i can find vforce2 i only see vforce3 everywhere ???

only used vf 2's, they dont make them anymore, they were the best, the 3's like to break the reeds and feed them to your engine.

thnx don ill try to find some used or some new left on table somewhere ....

I also heard anything triple piped would have an advantage using V-Force...however I am curious if the new Boyeson RAD valves might be just as good...

When I researched my 780 I spoke to all the engine builders before making my purchase. Hauck, Bender, CPR, couple of others. I asked everyone their thoughts on reeds. They all said the same thing. You will not see any HP increase from REEDS on a Yamaha. Their are examples of some other manufactures engines that see a very small increase but none on a Yamaha.

well i know some people got some increase throttle response in midrange so .....ill give a try on those boyesen petals or carbon tech.. but its not gonna be on a stock motor ...

do u think they have the same problem with the carbon tech petals cause the vforce2 a no more available ...doesnt wanna feed my engine with carbon :-)) he only love air and gaz

I have run vforce 2's and boyesens. Never had them on a dyno but by feel and throttle response they were definately not worth the money by any means, and they dont last as long because they are harder since they have more tension for quicker spring back.
