I'm running 8dg weights with a y-s-y spring. I was running a pretty shallow helix for these weights. I believe a 44deg starting angle. I was way over revving no matter how much weight I had in it. Does anyone have any good ideas to what helix might help me out? I was thinking of one around 51/43. I currently have a green Hauck spring.
Hauck had given me clutch set up with 8AB's with 4.5g in the tip. They had me run a 43 degree helix with their green spring. Clutch set-up simply sucked for riding here in the UP. Too much track spin, and I lost a lot of top end. So that's why I decided to try the stock 8dg's. Helped a lot with track spin, but simply over revving in the top end.

Run stock secondary & change the inner rivet to a 4.5 gram in the stock weights. It gets you very close & works well for trail riding.
