I've tried looking all over for the best ones..and although the "stealth" rods were the most attractive and combined a Bender/Maxximum Performance appeal to them...they have been discontinued...
People rave about the Benders, but from what I noticed when ice and snow coats them...you hafta work at them to move em...the Maxximum Style versions I find work best and function under cold/icy conditions...
Nonetheless..what ever you get...you'll like em..I installed last year and never thought I'd notice the difference..but I do...easy to adjust on the fly with great results....
If you can find the Max rods...go for it...but I'm sure the Bender will do just fine...

ya thats what im looking for.
The Max nuts for the viper transfer rods work great. I had the Benders and they ICE up to the point after a long day you can not adjust them all the way. Yamaha makes the transfer nuts too for $35?

Max nuts look just like the Yamaha accessory nuts. I order the Yamaha nuts yesterday, I hope they work OK. G.B.

When i put the transer rods on my sled i could not believe the difference they made in weight transfer. Lol it definately has no problem lifting the skis... Mine aren't the hand adjustable ones, you need an allen wrench to adjust mine. However my buddy did have a set of the bender ones and they get covered in ice and snow and you could not adjust them on the fly as they claim unless you carry a hammer and chisel with you lol. IMO the ones i have are a better buy just because they dont collect the amount of ice that big bulky adjustable ones do. All ya have to do is just adjust your weight transfer by trial and error before a long trail ride so theres no chance for the ice to build up. Just my 2 Cents guys
Are they still in business? I ordered some stuff on their on-line web site, I was thinking I'd get a conformation email or something. After waiting a week I sent an email to see if they had recieved my order but I still have yet to hear anything. I even tried calling but there was no answer.SWEDE said:Pioneer makes a good set also and cheaper if I remember correctly.
