How do you know where to start? I understand that there are numerous options, variables, ect. Can it be simplified or charted by the clutch kit manufacturers. Say for my '99 SRX...stock motor. I would rather have more power down low & mid range & sacrifice top end. If I had to catagorize it, I would say "aggressive trail" riding. I may be looking in the wrong places, but I just don't see anything that obvious. Just looking for a kit to start with initially that fits my "fun zone" I know it will have to be tested & tweaked. I'm just cloudy about where to begin. Thanks, Fro.
Go to the home page of this site, then go to the Technical pages, then go the clutching charts and look up your sled. You can also do a search on here for 98 or 99 srx + clutching. You will have lots of reading. Just don't use clutching suggestions for the 00 & up, as they are somewhat different for clutching.
