Done with Viper shock upgrade...a few setup ?'s

Should the nylon spacers be changed? I thought I read that somewhere. They have the thin one up top & thick one on the bottom. (on control rods)

Also, should you now go by the Viper preload specs or is that off abit due to the mod?

Finally, I put on a 1" Hacksaw. It rubs slightly on the front protectors. Not bad, but enough to notice. Should I run it on the stand & let it wear in or hit it with a belt sander?

For the viper updated shocks, I would go with a thinner spacer on the bottom, and leave the thin one on top. I have personally found that the updated viper shocks work great with real thin nylon washers on each end of the rods. FRA in medium position, center spring to the middle of the specified preload range, set limiters as loose as possible while maintaining adequate ski pressure, and set rear spring for 60/40 control rod gap.
 
Fro, I put a hacksaw on my viper last season. I clippped the lugs down about an 1/8 of an inch.
Only the lugs that are in line with the windows, thats about where the protector lines up.No rubbing at all.
