Anyone ran cpr's on the 700 non pv tripple? Looking for a good flatland set-up for them. Something to get us close as we can dial it in but would like to have a place to start. Clutching and jetting. Thanks.
Been der dun dat
147.5 mains
#50 pilots
Raise needles 1/2 all the way thru
Clutching depends on year of 700 but on a 00-02 700 I remember using stock weights with a 51/43 helix & being very close(8900-9100 rpm) It,s been a while!!!

Thanks Turk. Not very many people seem to have used them and the last time I talked to Jeff at cpr he wasn't real helpful. Just wanted to sell me aftermarket stuff to clutch it.

Ryan the jetting turk gave you is very close to what I have in my sons red head with CPR's. He runs 150's in winter but our temps a probably a bit colder than you... This sled also has the reed notch and a air box mod. It has 8CA01 ramps at 45.1 grams with 15mm rollers and a YWY primary spring. We run different helixs for different riding but seem to like around a 48/38 with 60 degs wrap and the stock spring. We also geared down a bit. This sled surprizes alot of people, have fun....

One thing to know about Jeff is he does not even mess around with the OEM weights to clutch his products. He normally starts of with Heavy Hitters right a way. His thought is why spend the time on a oem weight when HH will do the job better in the end. This is why he was problly pushing the aftermarket product, and may have never even tried a yamaha weight with those pipes.
Turk knows his stuff. You could also try Hauck. He setup all his clutch kits with OEM weights back then. Just tell them they are Hauck pipes not CPR's
Other wise the best pipe you can buy for the red headed motor.
