I just put motor back in, got the coolant bled, started and ran for 3-5 min to circulate water and i have water temp light is flashing 1 long and 3 short. says in tech it is sensor short or open. after looking i have a wire plug green in color by the carbs which has no place to plug into. is this green plug relavant or is it a spare? any suggestion would be very helpful. That green plug goes into the bottom of the coolant rail, on the right side of the motor sitting on the sled. I think it is beside a downward hose. It should clear your code. It is the water temp sensor plug.
