Hello
I live in Vanouver BC, and ride in the mountains around Whistler. I have a 94 Vmax 600 with a 159" track (yes 159, probably the only 600 vmax in the world with a 159)
I have acquired a used set of GYTR pipes for the Vmax. The used pipes had no info on jetting or clutching. I am currently running 152 jets in the sled at an elevation of about 5000-7000 ft. The sled seems to run good with that setting. I am also running a 18 tooth upper sprocket and a 39 lower. I believe the clutch is a stock setup, as I have not changed any settings since adding the 159" track.
Would you folks have any info on what jets to run for those GYTR pipes. Would you recommend any clutch changes. The sled runs very strong as of now, but as always a few extra HP would always be nice.
Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated

Hi there. I am in Medicine Hat, alberta and have a 95 vmax 600 st that i use up in the coleman and blairmore area.It has twin SLP pipes.Where i unload is approx 5500 feet above sea level and it quickly goe's up from there.I am running 147.5 main's and 50 pilot's, not sure about the clutch as the guy i bought it from said it was clutched fot the mountain's but it run's equally good here on the lake's in Medicine Hat.The clutching may be just stock???When i go real high up in the atlas area of Blairmore I could go with maybe 145 mains as i do feel it getting a little boggy the higher i go up.I am sure you could start with th 147.5 mains to start and do a plug chop and see how it feel's. I drove a buddy's with the single pipe and believe me the pipes may a very notieable difference when jetted right. My little 600 Haul's ***. Hope this helps.
