Just picked up a bone stock 01 SRX. I'm putting an Expert X in the rear along with a custom highrise Boss Seat. What do I need to do to the front end (best bang for the buck)? extensions, flip brackets, widening kit, etc. What is the cheepest solution vs. the best solution?
Also, best clutch setup? anything else?
Thanks

Talk to Bruce at Pioneer Performance, I'm sure he'll have some options for you.
Yes, to take advantage of the Expert you will want a wide/long travel front IMO. If you don't, I think you are leaving optimum handling on the table. There were lots of people making them at one time, most were very similar obviously, with the shocks used being the largest variance. I don't know whom is still making them, BLT who were later bought by FAST, are not, Pioneer and Sno-Tek maybe. I'm sure if you call around one of them will still make up a kit, it's not rocket science, 6 rods, some rods ends, couple drag links, and your choice of shocks, depending on how much you want to spend.
I happen to have Works shocks, which I am quite happy with, but cannot give a fair comparison for you as i have not ridden with the wide/long front end with another brand. Pioneer still show the kit on their site, so maybe they still stock them. With front and rear mods, you will not recognize the sled, other than the triple power/sound.

I see your kits as weight savers, but what about long traveling and widening?
