Thats not a wheelie, just a DOO Boy trying to look cool with a suspension setup for ski lift. You could make a 250 Bravo do close to the same thing.
Here are some real wheelies.

Well, I'm certianly not against Doo by any means. I've owned several. But take a closer look. The guy is running on dirt or snirt. Thus the great hook up. And most places I've been, Auto speed limit is 55. He wasn't pullin those cars enough to consider him fast. Most any sled would look like his in that situation.

What a donut head............. and you wonder why bombi engines don't hold up! Man it's a wonder she didn't make the big squeak right there on the side of the road. Somewhere there are rev guys that made a mess over their keyboard watchin this........................ I think its silly. Looks really cool though.

No it doesn't. Gearing and clutching is everything not the power it produces. Srx's came with less Hp and weighed a TON more, and i bet the srx is still faster. So this just goes to show that the hp and weigh dont havew everything to do with speed.

lol. What a bonehead! Love the part where he almost lawn darts it trying to jump the road. I agree, those aren't wheelies. He's just got everything slacked right off. I'm sure my sled (single pipe) would easily take him (with that setup) in 3000', lol.
I mean I beat all these guys and they were setup for higher speed trail riding, not just wheelie acceleration mode.
06 MX Z X 800 H.O. PowerTEK
05 MX Z X 800 H.O.
03 MX Z Renegade 800 (136")
Fun to watch him kick that crap of that thing though. Guess he's trying to blow it up before next year so if they bring the 1000cc back he can take the wife into letting him get one.

let me rephrase my statement for the POLITICALLY correct.... 425lbs at 151HP has the potential to be extremely fast. I watched a couple XP's down at the Hastings 500 absolutely rape the competition in the stock class, on top of winning 6 separate classes at Haydays...................I am not a ski-don't guy but you need to give credit where credit is due...
I hear ya. That exactly why I said I'd race him with his current setup, lol.BBlueSRX said:you need to give credit where credit is due...
Heck my RX-Ton with the Expert X skid could pull those kinda wheelies all day long.
With all Doo respect though ya gotta give Doo credit for pushing the envelope in terms of HP to weight ratio, I personally hope the sled holds up and proves to be a fast and reliable machine. There is nothing better to evolve our sport than competion in one form or another.

If I don't have tow any of the new Doos back this up coming year, I'll start to consider owning one. They have the potential to be great. If I had a $100 for every Cat, Pol or Doo I have towed to the parking lot with a Yamaha the last 10 years, I could pay cash for any sled I wanted.

That it does have the potential to be fast, actually VERY fast. But with all that suspension and stock setup Not likely. But i will give it credit. It is a great looking sled, and doo did a good job with it.
