what kinda times are ya running?
i have run 5.85 at 83 but i cant do it every time(no cool down & not dollying to the line)the worst this year is 6.0 at 81.i def need to be faster to win all the time, but the fastest sled doesnt always win when you beet em off the line.4.20 light gives a good head start on a 6.20 light.

if you pay the shipping or have it picked up, i will let you use my cool down cart, you just need to add a battery. no ice needed, fast and compact
i just finished remodeling one a friend had hiding in a pile of junk outside, the thing thats to bad is i probably wont use it till next year.the last race for negds i just heard was cancled so its back to the back yard w/ no clock and no time scedule.thanks for the offer though.what was youre viper running for times?i went against it a while back and got my a$$ handed to me.

I could maybe give ya some pointers maybe to improve your et a little?? Is nice to get the light, but its also good to have some insurance of running a faster ET/mph in case you dont get the light. If you dont want to post your clutching its ok, pm me. I ran in the 5.65-5.70's range consistantly with my trail sled, that was a 2002 srx with 32 miles on it, 168 mega bite studs in middle belt only, got 12 out of 14 races- 1st place, no cool down cart(wasnt allowed in trail stock). Just ride it up to the line, clean it out and get the pipes hot, rip er' down the track and drive it back.
If you have pipes on your viper, you have just as much power as I had with a stock srx, so you can be in the same area time wise, its all about the set up of the clutching/gearing and suspension working together, the suspension work is where alot of time is left on the table sometimes if your close on your clutching.
its up to you if ya want some help or not, let me know.

my viper stock legal would run 5.9 seady and down to mid 5.8 if the driver wasnt sleeping(me)
later when i ran the sled with srx pipes, viper box with higher compression heads it was way faster but never got it on a timer and of coarse then i had to run it in the improved class.
there are some grass drags in ashland this year i heard, are you going?
