Hi all,
I'm heading to the Toronto snowmobile show this Sunday.
I'm going to buy new carbides to replace the stock ones. I just finished putting 96 studs up the middle in my track. What would be a good match?
I was thinking Dual carbides might be a good option.
Anyways, lets see what you think. How much should I be using 4" 6" 8"

I've had excellent results with Bergstrom carbides. Make sure and get the ski savers, they are cheap and do wonders to reduce/eliminate darting.

I would up the studs to at least 144 centered with double and single backers. Then add 6" Studboy Shaper bars and Bergstron ski savers.

I HAD 144 studs with 6in. Woodys Carbides on my Viper and couldnt have been happier with the performance. But I went deeper(1.25in) and non studded, mainly cause the 1.25in. Pred is better off trail and now has less rotating weight even with the taller lug.

the only 2 options in my opinion are CB and bergstrom. They both will someday quality them selves right out of business. LOL I have heard of both having carbides last 7 to 9000 miles, and they both stand behind there products. When my Sharper wear out, I am going to try CB and Compare them to Viper Daves tripple points. Maxdlx
I've got the Bergstrom triple points (In Ontario), shipped right to my door, and duty free to boot. Not too many guys have that whole NAFTA paperwork thing figured out properly. Happy with them so far for sure, and Scott is a real nice guy to talk to.
