Redsnake, Simons CPR made all of those pipes.....he had a contract with Hauck for the first few years, then started to sell them under his own name. That was when Hauch changed his tune and started selling the Aaens....stating that they were better when in reality is was because his contract ran out. Here are some CPR's.

Mine look just like Jeep Therapy's, but I painted them silver.

plz to enlighten me. This stuff is all new to me. I haven't even finished putting the pipes on. I also have a peak performance head to get put on there. I then need to jet carburetors and dial in the heel clickers. Also newly added. I also upgraded to a 136 predator track with hartman extension kit. Ask an expert
I'd ask an expert about the carbs......and I am not an expert. Try MRVIPER700 about the jetting. He will also be able to get you close on the clutching. It just looks to me like the belt is slipping a little bit. I bet your primary is quite hot to the touch when you ride.

I would but the SRX has a chisled up speed track on it right now. Besides your a 4 stroke guy this year anyway with that new Limo - aaaaaa mountain sled - LOLtomseal6 said:^^^^^^

why is it that they have hauck stamped into them? was he just using the hauck name?
also i can help with a clutch set up and jetting for those pipes.

If you are talking about the pipe with the welded Simon CPR plate on it with the Hauck name stamped underneith it is because when Jeff made the pipes he had his name stamped in it and had pipes with hauck stamped in it. When Jeff stopped selling to Hauck he just weld a plate with his name on it over the stamped Hauck name to use up what was left of inventory to be sold to Hauck.

I sold both of my Vipers in the fall of 2005 and bought a 2004 mxzx rev 600 sdi, and the a new 2006 gsx limited rev 600 sdi for the wife. so I had no yamahas untill this spring when I picked up a 2002 viper with no motor and parts missing for nothing, and plan to turn it into a backcountry/mountain sled with a SRX 780 bigbore or a SX redhead760 bigbore in it.
