I recently bought an aftermarket trailing arm from High Performance Engineering for my 04 Viper . . I just wanted to let everyone know that happens to buy one of these that when it says it comes in silver that it is not the same color silver that the original is , ( a little darker ) . But the quality of the part is just as good as the factory from what i see so far . . just a heads up to anyone else expecting a direct bolt on that if your as picky as i am about it looking original then you better plan on repainting it . .

hiperf.com - throw a decal on it and forget it, to me that was the big part, I haven't thought about it since.

The paint did give me that UUUUGHHH feeling but im just gonna throw a coat of that duplicolor wheel paint on it and roll with it . Thats almost a perfect match . Im in the middle of so much with my sled right now i just sent my head to bender for the mod today and ive got the suspension dropped for tunnel protectors and Im trying to design my own drop brackets too . she looks pretty sorry right now all torn apart but its gotta get bad before it gets better they say !

Those arms are definately much cheaper priced than factory, but they are also way thinner and bend way easier than stock (which can actually be a good thing). If you jump a lot though you will see them start to bow out. But if the arm bends then the chassis and rear trailing arm mount dont, which is good, and the aftermarket arms are WAY cheaper to replace.

Buy your drop brackets from CB performace. Very nice piece. I bought a pair and installed a few weeks ago. Worth every penny in my opinion. Save your time and trouble and spend $89 for a quality piece.
