I am running stock gears in my 04 viper s right now (22-3
. Is there anything to be achived by changing this in either direction? It has triple pipes and v-force reeds. I cant say that i noticed it lags in any one area. Just thought that maybe you guys know what they like. Thanks

what type of riding are you doing with it 90 percent of the time?
I have heard of some people putting 23/38 in their viper after they modded it with clutching, pipes, heads, porting, ETC
gives them the top end of an SRX as thats what the SRX's run stock
A stock viper has 22/38 gears but has nowheres near the HP of an SRX

I am a aggressive trail rider. I like hard acceleration with the ability to be able to fly accross the lake. sorry for the delay in response. Was on vacation!
22/38 for more trail then lake, 23/38 or 23/37 for lake more then trail.
