I was wondering if it would be possible to just swap out my stock front shocks on my 03 viper and put in mountain viper shocks cuase they are taller. I need more suspension up front cuase I ride really hard and want more travel for those hard hits. Hopefully this will work.

i think that most of the difference in the travel on the viper mountain comes from having shorter radius rods along with the shocks.

So what do I have to do to get my viper to sit like a mountain viper.

put shorter radius rods in but that will compromise handling because u will have a narrower ski stance there for making the sled tipsy. hauck powersports makes a mount that bolts up to ur shock mounts on the chassis and lets u mount the shocks lower so that would raise the front end. but remeber that will change the angle of the shock and change how the sled feels. not sure if it will make the shock feel stiffer or softer.

How much are shorter radius rods gonna run me? I am already droppin alot into my sled to get it ready for winter. It isn't a big deal for me if the handling decreases, I just need some more travel. Even if it is more tipsy, my skis are rarely on the snow at the same time anyway
