Whats the PN of the Ohlin shock. I want to cross reference it to see if it will fit the front shck of the rear suspension on my 2004 MNT VIPER. I bought a new far rear on clear out. Good price too.
Thanks
Thanks

kinger, thanks i'll be getting back to you sometime on what measurements i need. you have an 05 and the proactive skid correct?
Yeah my old man has a vector (05) and I don't get home too often but when I do I will get all the measurements you need. I know what you'll need after doing my edge skid install, I'll get the same ones execpt for the proactive. You might be in luck and have the rear mounts line up if I remember right. I wanted a proactive for my RX1 but could never find one.

Hey Kinger,
I'll be the one doing the install. The measurements I need are:
- Center to center of the mount bolts installed in sled
- Driveshaft to center of front mount bolt
- Ground up measurements to the center of each mounting bolt (front and rear) - I'll need this to determine the difference between the 2.
I think that will work. In the meantime I'm still trying to find a vector myself to measure. I appreciate the assistance!

did anyone ever get the mounting dimensions for the 05 proactive?

Give me a few minutes as this was asked on here once before and I posted up the measurements. I have all bolt locations for the 05 Viper Mtn that I personally measured right off my sled.
EDIT: From my post, post #9 here, http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/...ead.php?t=62986
From the flat back side of the drive axle to the center of the front mount - 11 11/16"
From the inside top of the tunnel down to the center of the front mount- 5 9/16"
From the center of the front mount to the center of the rear mount- 31 5/16"
From the inside top of the tunnel down to the center of the rear mount- 7 5/8"
I'm 99.9% sure that the skid from an 05 Vector will have the same measurements since a skid from a 08 Nytro MTX bolted right into our 05 Viper Mtn also. I think the only difference is the length of the rails.

I've done a couple skid swaps,,, Get your measurements,, then set skids side by side.. and take measurement & use the reference between the two,, think hard and long before drilling... been happy with my outcomes.... take measurements of stock sled heights--- front to back .;. (5 points) mark locations & measurements,,, freeload & weight on skid,,-(set -in.)..
