I have a 06 venture that emits a obnoxius grinding noise from the front end of the tunnel or area just behind the engine at speeds in the range of 30 to 50 mph. I have read various notes on this noise that appears to be evident on most ventures. Some say it's track noise or some component of the track and drive system that is the cause. I have also read where people have tried changing from plastic hub to rubber bogie wheels, installed studs, etc. with various degrees of success to eliminate the noise. Neither the dealer or factory have come up with any solutions and I'm wondering if anyone out there has any new info on how to cure this problem for sure? It would also help if someone who owns a newer model would comment on the noise level of their machine, then maybe I could find own what was changed on the newer models to cure the problem.

Thanks!!!

First of all, welcome to TY. Second of all, you'd probably have more luck with this question over on the 4 stroke forum. You have to register there as well. I'm assuming you have the 4 stroke because I'm not aware of any of the smoking ventures suffering from the track howl issue. If you search the 4 stroke forum for "track howl" or "track noise" you'll probably gets lots of reading.
