Well I finally got a newer more up to date sled!!!!!! I just bought a 2000 Yamaha (Of Course) SXR 700 and this thing looks amazing~~ I am so pumped for this season. It came with a newer Camoplast track cant remember the name but its the one with the studs built in to the track, new carbides, new slides, mid level windy, and footwell grates for traction which are pretty nice. I bought it for 1600 and only has 2400 miles on it. The guy wanted 2300 but I got him to come down on the price so I am happy. Everything looks amazing on it, just some minor flaws but can be fixed such as, flew scratches, and gay mirrors which are going to be for sale, and the cover is faded to hell but oh well. The guy bought it new from Port so I know hes a good guy!

I will post pictures as soon as I can, probably tomorrow....

enjoy! I see you made the right decision going with the 700... and it's always great to know that my sled isn't even worth its weight in scrap anymore!! haha good luck

Exactly, and tonight I plan on doing the free mods or going to the bar but most likely to the bar and doing them tomorrow...

Umm yeah I bought mine for 2 grand with 7600 miles on it.... but it WAS in mint shape. Then I had to go and wreck it lol.

I guess the reason I payed so much was because I got a bunch of extras with it and I bought it to help a friend get started as a diesel tech.. He used the money to help pay for his tool box.

I will relax I just bought it the other day, hopefully I get home tonight at a decent hour so its still light out and if it would stop raining!!!!!!!

Your gonna love that sled compared to what you had before, theres all kinds of tiny tinker adjustments you can make to the sxr700 and they flat out perform, very reliable engines.

Good to hear boys, I am pumped for this season. Going to jump on it tomorrow and get some things done to her. Silencer mod, reed notch, and thin head gasket....
